Information you share
Octo Music Studio provides live online piano and guitar lessons. Our contact form requests your first name and email address; you may also provide a last name and message. Booking details are provided through Stan. We use inquiry and booking information to respond to questions, arrange lessons, and communicate about the services you request. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in a website message.
Student privacy and lesson records
We keep student contact information and lesson-guidance records while the student is taking lessons with Octo Music Studio. We use these records for lesson communication and educational guidance concerning music. When the student stops taking lessons, we delete these records from the records we manage. Independent service providers retain information under their own policies.
Octo Music Studio does not record lessons or take photographs or videos of students. Students may choose to make their own recordings or photographs; these are not created or managed by the studio.
A parent or guardian should arrange bookings and provide adult contact details for children.
Services and privacy questions
Our website and contact form are hosted by Wix. Contact notifications are delivered by email. Booking and payment services are provided through Stan and its applicable payment providers. Online lessons take place on Zoom. Information provided directly to these services is also handled under their own terms and privacy notices.
